V Magazine attempts "girl power" issue

I'm not sure why V magazine chose the image of a naked screaming woman about to be killed by a man as the cover of their "Girl Power Issue".  I really fail to see how a scared woman reflects power.

The cover features Scarlett Johansson, who has previously dealt a spoonful of STFU to annoying reporters who treat actresses like it's their life's purpose to obsess over their appearance.  The image is promotion for the up-coming film about the love story of Alfred Hitchcock and his wife Alma during making of Psycho - film and filmmaker not exactly known for themes of girl power.  Scarlett plays Janet Leigh. Girl...power....
